Looking Past the Haze

Was listening to some relaxing music and drew this~ Was going to be a holiday pic with fireworks in the background etc but it turned out to be just me sitting on my butt with blue surrounding me =___=

I miss all of the wonderful things about you;
whenever you're gone I only hope to see you soon.

I miss that beautiful smile you wear on your face
that spreads happiness and peace all around the place.

I miss that spectacular, kind spirit you have inside;
friends to all and standing by my side.

I miss speaking to you and sharing my thoughts,
knowing you will listen to me drone off and talk.

I miss, whenever I have a tear in my eye,
being able to lean on you to cry and let the pain die.

I miss all the fun things we do together,
remembering the happiness that felt like forever.

I miss looking at you and being able to smile
because you're a true friend forever, even when gone awhile.

So wherever you go and whatever you do
remember to come back very soon
'cause I'm sure you're thinking the same thing too,
“I really, really miss you”
